CONFERENCE VENUE
The Conference will open on Sunday, September 14, at 6:00 p.m. with an Icebreaker event at the MUST museum downtown (Ex Convento Di Santa Chiara, Via degli Ammirati 11, near Piazza Sant’Oronzo, the city’s main square). During this event, participants will also have the opportunity to register for the Conference.
The scientific sessions will commence on Monday, September 15, at the Castle of Charles V, located in the historic city center. The registration desk will be open throughout the duration of the Conference at this venue.

The conference will take place in the Castle Charles V in the historic city center of Lecce.
The Castle Charles V is only one hundred meters from the Piazza Sant’Oronzo which is the hearth of the Baroque area and from Piazza Mazzini, the commercial center of the city. Many shops, restaurants, museums and touristic attractions are present in the area.
Lecce is a wonderful city known as “The Florence of the South” for its baroque style buildings and it is the main city of the Salento peninsula, the “hill of the boot of Italy”, between the Adriatic and the Ionian seas.
Lecce can be easily reached from the Salento Airport in Brindisi or from the Bari Airport connected to the Rome and Milan or other international airports.
